Asheville For Palestine

Asheville For Palestine is a local boycott campaign modeled after the national No Appetite for Apartheid Campaign. In line with the tactics of the global Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement and global Apartheid Free Zones:

We are asking local businesses to become Apartheid Free Stores. This means refusing to stock food products that contribute to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

We are asking consumers to support local Apartheid Free Stores.

Black poster with outline of Palestine in red and green. Bold white letters say, "This is an apartheid-free store." In smaller text it reads, This store has No Appetite for Apartheid and is proudly boycotting products and companies complicit in the Israeli occupation of Palestine, in solidarity with the Palestinian people against the ongoing Israeli oppression, apartheid, and colonialism.

What We Do

As you shop, you are making a choice about how to spend your money and what to support. We connect the many Asheville residents who want to tangibly support Palestine with stores who also support liberation and pledge to be apartheid-free. By shopping at solidarity stores and refusing to shop at stores supporting apartheid, you can have an immediate economic impact and let your voice be heard.
